The verdict in 60 words: Instantly is the volume cold-email platform. Unlimited sending accounts and warmup from $47 a month, 5,000 to 500,000 emails a month by plan, a 450M-contact lead database and, since September 2026, a family of AI agents. It is very good at sending a lot of email without burning domains. It does not do LinkedIn, and its reviews split sharply on billing and support.
Price: Growth $47 a month for outreach only ($37.60 on annual); bundles with the database and AI Sales Agent from $94. No trial length on the pricing page. Best for: teams running many mailboxes and large lists who measure success in volume. Not for: LinkedIn-first outbound or anyone who needs research before the first email.
What we checked, and when: each vendor's pricing and features pages, its help centre, Vendr where it publishes contract data, and the public review listings we could open (Capterra, Trustpilot; G2 blocked automated reads on most pages and is cited only where it rendered or where the vendor states its own score). All read on October 8, 2026. This is a documentation and reviews-based assessment, not a hands-on test.
Disclosure: Valley makes an outbound platform and competes for part of this budget. Where Valley appears it is marked, and every price and claim below was read from the source named next to it on October 8, 2026.
Valley is an AI outbound platform that finds the people most likely to buy from you - from live buying signals, natural-language search, or your own lists - qualifies them against your ICP, researches each one, and sends personalized messages across email and LinkedIn that get 15-45% reply rates, against a category average of about 2%.

Starting price | $47 a month (Growth, outreach only); $94 with the database and AI Sales Agent |
Trial | Not stated on the pricing page; the AI Sales Agent page says no card is required to start |
Channels | Email. LinkedIn appears only as a manual task in the CRM |

Pros
Unlimited connected email accounts and unlimited warmup on every outreach plan, which is the reason agencies use it.
Sending volume by plan: 5,000 emails a month on Growth, 125,000 on Hypergrowth, 500,000 on Light Speed.
A lead database (450M+) and email verification in the same product, so list, verify and send live in one tab.
Deliverability tooling: warmup, inbox placement tests, a Deliverability Agent in the September 2026 redesign.
Integrations with HubSpot, Slack, Zapier, Trigify, RB2B, BetterContact, Findymail and Gojiberry, plus a ChatGPT plugin.
Cons
No LinkedIn automation. The CRM lists LinkedIn connections as a task you do by hand.
Credits everywhere: the AI Reply Agent costs 5 credits per generated reply whether or not you use it, and its fully automatic reply mode is Hypergrowth and above.
The pricing page contradicts itself: the bundle-details panel lists Hypergrowth at $358 and Supersonic at $197 while the plan tabs say $97. Get the number in writing.
Trustpilot removed its score for a guidelines breach; one in four reviews there is one star, citing paywalled features, double charges, replies locked behind tiers and chatbot support.
G2's vendor-supplied box still shows Growth at $37, which means the entry price rose to $47 in 2026 without a dated announcement.
Key features
Sending and warmup
Connect as many mailboxes as you like, rotate sends across them and keep each at the 30 to 50 a day Instantly itself recommends. Warmup is unlimited and the help centre's defaults are conservative: one extra email a day, a cap of 10 warmup emails, a 30% reply rate target, and two weeks before a mailbox goes live.
Lead Finder and verification
The Starter bundle adds the 450M-contact database and 1,500 credits a month; Scale and Agency raise that to 5,000 and 10,000. Verification is built in, so a list can be cleaned before the first send.
AI Sales Agent and AI Reply Agent
The Sales Agent builds and launches campaigns; the Reply Agent drafts answers to replies at 5 credits each. In September 2026 Instantly added Partnership, Investment, Recruiting, User Research and Voice agents, the last built on ElevenLabs. Treat them as new: the help centre is still filling in.
CRM and inbox
A unified inbox with an AI-powered CRM that tracks email, calls, SMS and LinkedIn tasks. Website visitor identification is on the bundles.

Instantly alternatives
Prices read October 8, 2026 from each vendor's pricing page.
lemlist: email from $69 a month per workspace with unlimited users, and a $109 per user Multichannel plan that adds LinkedIn, SMS and calling, which Instantly does not have. See our lemlist review.
Apollo: $49 a seat on annual for sequences plus a 240M-contact database and 30,000 credits a year; no LinkedIn automation either, but data and sending in one seat. See our Apollo review.
Mailshake: $29 to $99 per user with a dialer on the top plan and no free trial; simpler and cheaper for a small team. See lemlist vs Mailshake.
Valley (our product) starts from the other end: live buying signals, natural-language search or your own list, then qualification against your ICP, per-person research and a first message in your voice, then LinkedIn and email sequences. One seat is one LinkedIn account; Starter is $199 a month or $149 billed quarterly, with a 7-day trial. Fewer messages, each with a reason to reply. See how Valley compares.

Who Instantly is for
An agency or a sales team that runs ten or more mailboxes, buys or builds large lists, and wants the cheapest reliable way to send and warm at scale. The unlimited-accounts model is the product, and at $47 for 5,000 emails a month it is hard to argue with on price.
Who Instantly is not for
LinkedIn-first teams, because there is no LinkedIn automation. Teams that want per-person research before the send, because Instantly's personalization is merge fields and AI copy over a list. And anyone who cannot tolerate billing friction: the Trustpilot complaints are consistent enough to read the cancellation terms before you add a card.

FAQ
How much does Instantly cost? Outreach-only plans are $47, $97 and $358 a month (10% less on annual). Bundles with the lead database and AI agents are $94, $194 and $555. Credits-only plans start at $47. Read October 8, 2026.
Does Instantly have a free trial? The pricing page does not state a trial length. The AI Sales Agent page says you can start without a card.
Does Instantly do LinkedIn outreach? No. The CRM lists LinkedIn connections as a manual task alongside calls and SMS; nothing is automated on LinkedIn.
How many emails can Instantly send per day? As many mailboxes as you connect, each at the 30 to 50 a day Instantly recommends after two to three weeks of warmup. Plan caps are 5,000, 125,000 and 500,000 emails a month.
Is Instantly's lead database any good? It claims 450M+ contacts and is bundled with verification. Reviewers praise the sending more than the data; treat it as a convenience, not a ZoomInfo replacement.
Why does Trustpilot not show a score for Instantly? Trustpilot withheld the TrustScore for a breach of its guidelines. The 1,171 reviews are still visible: 67% five-star, 25% one-star, with billing and support the common one-star themes.
What are the Instantly AI agents? Launched in September 2026: Partnership, Investment, Recruiting, User Research and Voice agents, on top of the earlier AI Sales Agent, AI Reply Agent and Lead Finder Agent.
