The answer up front: Artisan no longer publishes prices. Sometime between May 12 and July 22, 2026 (Wayback Machine receipts below), the public plans - Intern at $250/month and Employee at $600/month, both "billed annually, credits upfront" - were replaced by three sales-gated tiers: Team (~2,500 leads contacted/month), Scale (~6,000), and Enterprise (custom). Every price now comes from a sales call. Third parties report real quoted deals at $1,500-5,000/month; treat those as reported, not confirmed. If a blog quotes $250/$600 as current, it is out of date.
Disclosure: Valley competes with Artisan for part of this budget. Every claim below is dated and checkable, including the archive links' dates, so you do not have to take our word for anything.
Valley is an AI outbound platform that finds the people most likely to buy from you - from live buying signals, natural-language search, or your own lists - qualifies them against your ICP, researches each one, and sends personalized messages across email and LinkedIn that get 15-45% reply rates, against a category average of about 2%.
What the pricing page says today
Verified on artisan.co/pricing, September 7, 2026: three tiers, zero dollar amounts. Team is framed "for teams running their first serious outbound motion, ~2,500 leads contacted/mo"; Scale (marked most popular) at ~6,000 leads/month; Enterprise custom. The FAQ says it plainly: "Plans are sized to your lead volume, mailboxes, and dialer seats. Request pricing and we'll build the right plan with you." Every plan includes the 250M+ contact database, autonomous replies and booking, Salesforce/HubSpot sync, CSM support; the dialer is a per-seat add-on.
What it said four months ago (the receipts)
The Wayback Machine's May 12, 2026 snapshot of the same page shows a self-serve grid: Free ($0, 300 credits/month) · Intern ($250/month, 12,000 credits, "1-12 positive replies/mo") · Employee ($600/month, 30,000 credits, "4-30 positive replies/mo") - each marked "Billed annually, credits upfront," with sending infrastructure (mailboxes, phone numbers) billed separately. By the July 22 snapshot, the grid was gone. Two things worth noticing in the old fine print: the "monthly" prices were annual commitments paid upfront, and the plans promised replies in ranges ("1-12 a month") - a rare, honest glimpse of expected output at $3,000/year.
Era | Entry price | Structure |
|---|---|---|
Through ~May 2026 | $250/mo Intern · $600/mo Employee | Billed annually, credits upfront; infrastructure extra |
Since ~July 2026 | Unpublished | Team / Scale / Enterprise, sized on a sales call |
Reported deals (third-party) | $1,500-5,000/mo | MarketBetter and others, 2026 - unverified |
What you are actually buying
Ava, Artisan's AI BDR, runs the outbound loop: finds leads in a 250M+ contact database, enriches from 22+ sources, prioritizes on intent signals, sends personalized email and social outreach, handles replies, books meetings. Verbatim from their own FAQ: "Ava emails, your reps dial" - calls are queued for humans, not made by the AI. Autonomy is adjustable: draft-and-wait or full send, with banned phrases and escalation rules. SOC 2 Type II, SSO, GDPR. Note one live dispute: Trustpilot reviewers in mid-2026 claimed LinkedIn automation stopped working ("it is pretty much a email automation tool"); Artisan publicly disputed this in its replies. Their site says "email and social" and avoids the word LinkedIn in the sections we checked. Ask in the sales call, in writing.
How to run the sales call
Four questions that price the real deal: What is the total first-year cost including mailboxes, domains and dialer seats? Is the contract annual and paid upfront, as the old plans were? What reply volume do you commit to at my tier - the old plans published ranges, so ask for yours? And what happens at renewal if lead quality in my niche runs thin?
For the category context - what 11x, AiSDR and Regie charge against this - see AI SDR pricing in 2026. If the sales-gated pattern itself is the turn-off: Valley's price is published ($149/month billed quarterly, $199 monthly, everything unlocked, 7-day free trial), and so is our reply-rate claim (15-45% vs ~2%), with methodology in the benchmarks report.

Three questions beat any comparison chart: is the price public, what does "monthly" mean (Artisan's old monthly was an annual prepay), and does the vendor commit to an output range in writing. Full alternatives tree: Artisan alternatives.
FAQ
How much does Artisan cost in 2026? Unpublished since roughly June 2026. The prior public plans were $250/month (Intern) and $600/month (Employee), both billed annually with credits upfront. Third parties report quoted deals at $1,500-5,000/month; verify in your own call.
Why did Artisan remove its pricing? They have not said publicly. The page moved from a self-serve grid (May 2026 archive) to sales-scoped tiers (July 2026 archive). Sales-gated pricing usually accompanies a move upmarket.
Does Artisan have a free plan or trial? The old Free plan ($0, 300 credits) is gone from the current pricing page. The motion today is demo-first.
Does Ava make phone calls? No - their own FAQ: "Ava emails, your reps dial." The AI queues calls in the native dialer; humans make them.
How does Valley pricing compare? Published and flat: $149/month billed quarterly or $199 month-to-month, everything in the core platform unlocked day one (Deep research is the one metered add-on), 7-day free trial, card required, cancel in two clicks.
